This guide walks you through a 14-day Shopify Turkey launch plan.
Why Shopify, why 2026?
Until 2024 Shopify Turkey had real friction: weak TRY pricing support, payment-acceptance hassles, customs confusion. By 2026 most of these blockers are gone:

- İyzico and PayTR are official Shopify App Store partners

The 14-day launch plan
Day 1-2: Lock your brand

Shopify Payments isn't fully live in Turkey yet — so İyzico or PayTR is required.
Day 6: Shipping integration
- Sendeo, GETIR Carrier, Yurtiçi Kargo Plus automate tracking + label printing via Shopify App Store
- Negotiate average unit shipping cost to 22-32 TRY range
- Free shipping threshold: average basket × 1.4 (e.g., AOV 200 TRY → threshold 279 TRY)
Day 7: KVKK + Distance Sales + Cookie agreements
Shopify doesn't auto-generate these — use a template (see /legal/kvkk for a sample) or have a lawyer review for 1 hour.
Day 8: Tax setup
- VAT (KDV): 20% default, food 10%, books 1%
- Withholding: varies by entity type (LTD/A.Ş./sole proprietor)
- e-Invoice: Required above 5M TRY gross — connect Logo İşbaşı + Shopify connector or NetteFatura
Day 9: SEO foundations
- Site title + meta description (every product)
